PARTICIPATORY BUDGETING YOUTH COMMITTEE MEETING - 9/28

If you're looking for a new way to get civically engaged and want the opportunity to vote regardless of federal voter registration, come to the next PB Youth meeting on Thursday, September 28th from 6-7:30pm at the Windsor Terrace Library (160 E 5th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11218)

We will be going over the fundamentals of PB and the responsibilities of the PB Youth Committee, as well as making a PB Youth Recruitment video. There will be snacks!

DISCUSSION OF BLOOMBERG & DE BLASIO MAYORALITIES - 9/29

YPPG will be co-sponsoring a discussion entitled "A Tale of Two New Yorks: The Bloomberg and De Blasio Years" hosted by The Gotham Center for New York City History. The discussion will be on Friday, September 29th at the CUNY Graduate Center (365 5th Avenue btw 34th & 35th St) from 6:30-8pm. 

Watch Jarret Murphy, the executive editor and publisher of City Limits, interview Christ McNickle and Joseph P. Viteritti about their new histories of the Bloomberg and De Blasio mayoralities.
